Intermediate Exam Paper Evaluation Through Online From 2016
!
The Intermediate board had planning to change the valuation
process. So, they are trying to introduce Online valuation for Intermediate
Examinations. This process is already implemented in CBSE 11, 12 standards.
Compared to the CBSE students, the intermediate students will be eight times
more than that of CBSE students, i.e, approximately 9.5 lakhs of people are
going to write exams. A total of 56 lakhs of answer papers need to be
evaluated. At present JNTU Kakinada is following this pattern in Engineering
examinations.
The booklets will be scanned and sent to their personal
website. Later, they will start all those valuation process by giving some
login ids to the faculty members. The faculty members can correct those papers
from their respective colleges only, no need to visit the university.
What is Online Valuation?
It is about valuating the papers through computer. For each
student a booklet will be provided, which consists of 32 pages. No additional
sheets will be issued to the student. A OMR sheet will be attached to the book
let, which will have the students complete information on it.
The students should check it before writing the exam. After
the completion of exams, the invigilator will separate part-1 from the OMR
sheet, where the student details are present. Then the remaining paper will be
scanned and sent to the Inter board. After completion of the entire scanning,
the faculty will be selected by the board to the valuation process.
They will valuate the papers from their colleges itself. The
college will allot a separate room for this online process. By using this
method, there is no need to assemble all the faculty members to a single place.
The exam should written with BLack pen only.
