KFC Served Fried Rat Instead of Chicken Wings Goes Viral in
Facebook, KFC Served Fried Rat while Customer Order Chicken in California,US.
Devorise Dixon, an unfortunate customer of KFC from Watts,
California was given a KFC Served Fried Rat Instead of Chicken Wings he
ordered. He had no clue what the strange thing was until he examined it
closely. It looked like a tail coming out from Chicken’s breast. When he went
back to the manager of Kentucky fried chicken famously known as KFC and showed
it what they have given him for chicken, he agreed and apologized for the
blunder, yet no strict action was taken.
This is not the first time that KFC has come up with food
controversy; lately it was also blamed for serving spoilt chicken with worms to
its customers. Again it is into the same, but this time it came up with a fried
rat. The disturbed customer has posted some video clips and photos of what he
received on face book. The images went viral in the social media with over 1
lakh shares. Dixon writes in his post “WENT BACK TO KFC YESTERDAY AND SPOKE TO
THE MANAGER SHE SAID IT IS A RAT AND APOLOGIZED, IT’S TIME FOR A LAWYER!!!
BESAFE DON’T EAT FAST FOOD!!!”. His Face book post reads: “It sent deep chills
throughout my whole body! I’ve been feeling weird ever since. It’s time for a
lawyer, be safe don’t eat fast food!”
However, KFC has denied its involvement in this fraud and
also said that an investigation found no proof to hold up their argument. In
another comment KFC said that they have been contacting Dixon, but he isn’t
cooperating with them. Dixon has not yet filed any case, the official KFC South
Africa customer care response to one tweet termed that the allegations put on
KFC are untrue and the investigations carried has proved no hand of KFC in that
ordered meal.
If this kind of impression on the highly demanding fast
foods, no food is safe to eat. Now it is with the non-vegetarian food, later
the same can happen with a vegetarian food. It started with the ban on maggi,
then reports came up with maximum rejections on Haldirams and now it is time
for the reputed fast food centers worldwide. KFC has commented on a face book
page saying “KFC takes customer claims very seriously, and we are continuing to
investigate this matter. Our chicken tenders often vary in size and shape, and
we currently have no evidence to support this claim. We are aggressively trying
to reach Mr. Dixon, and we request that he return to the restaurant with the
product for testing, or call us at 1-800-Call-KFC.”.
Dixon has not yet filed any case against KFC nor tried to
get back to the KFC centre to lodge an official complaint with them. Sources
also doubt if the information is fake or genuine. However the post with the
fried rat involving KFC has gone viral in social media and KFC is battling
through it online. Following this event, KFC has been trolled over the face
book and has been answering all its renowned customers in all its social media
pages.
