Director Teja who was hailed as a trendsetter during Jayam days has been struggling for success for over a decade.
After making numerous failed attempts to get back on track, Teja is coming back with Hora Hori film to try his luck again.
Teja met the press during the promotions of this movie and in his usual style he is making some controversial remarks against Telugu cinema and few superstars.
In his latest interview when Teja was asked about stars like Mahesh Babu adopting villages, Teja made some nasty remarks against the superstar.
“There must be some tax exemption announced by the Government. That is the reason why people like Mahesh and others are adopting villages. Corporate companies do social work for the same reason,” he said.
“If Mahesh really wanted to serve the society he would have adopted villages during Okkadu days itself. He need not have to wait until Srimanthudu to do this,” Teja said in a sarcastic tone.
Mahesh is the only big star that has ever worked with Teja so far. Although Nijam flopped, Mahesh won Nandi Award as the best actor for his performance in it.
